Daniel brought the Moon Truck in because the radiator brackets needed replacing & a new firewall to be made from steel in order to make the whole set up more rigid. Jim then sprayed the new firewall in cream to match the logo on the doors.

He also wanted to get rid of the existing exhaust so Jim fabricated a new system of straight thro pipes.

In order to create a real tail draggin stance for this Chevy the chassis needed to be sectioned & modified to accommodate the Shockwaves Air Ride airbags & triangulated 4 bar.

Jim made the mould for this custom intake manifold so he could run a triple carb set-up & to improve the performance of the electronic fuel injection system.

4 1/2 inch stroke crank, 4 inch bore with one off custom pistons (making a whopping 324 cubic inches), Weiand supercharger with electronic fuel injection.

All contributing to a world record holding 12.7 second 1/4 mile @ 109.8 mph.
